About Me
Baldur Rensch is a technologist focusing on ecommerce. He has managed teams both on site and off-shore, and has come up with the architecture for multiple high-profile web properties.
He was influential at Nordstrom as Senior Architect, coming up with the architecture of both hautelook.com, as well as nordstromrack.com, handling up to 100 transactions per seconds.
He is currently the VP of Engineering at Sourceability, a broker in the electronics supply chain. Baldur is a big believer and contributor in open source software, and has spoken at
multiple conferences.
